Reasons to Move to Mexico, Boca Del Mar, Costa Maya, Mexico Real Estate
Pause for a moment and picture yourself awakening each day to the sound of tropical birds singing in the surrounding trees, as the sun rises over the Caribbean and the nearby ocean provides the same peaceful rhythm that lulled you to sleep the night before. After a fragrant cup of coffee or perhaps a fresh-squeezed tropical fruit juice, you decide to stroll the white sand beach while watching the sea birds diving in the crystal-clear, turquoise-blue waters. This is an unhurried lifestyle; one where you stop to notice the beauty around you, have time to chat with new friends, enjoy a good book, or just take a moment to watch the swell of the ocean during a long walk. You’re healthier; more relaxed, and find life satisfying. Stress has been left in another world, as have smog, traffic, horns and crowds. Finally, years of hard work and sacrifice have come to fruition. Sound like paradise? YES, it is. This may seem like a dream, but make no mistake about it; this is a dream that’s achievable, affordable, and practical for just about everyone. Mexico Is Much More Than A Great Place To Visit Mexico attracted 21.95 million visitors in 2005, according to SECTUR--Mexico's Board of Tourism. This influx in visitors meant tourism-related revenues of approximately $11.75 billion in 2005--an increase of almost 11% over the previous year. However, a good portion of these visitors have become so captivated by Mexico's easy living that they've decided to purchase property and start a new life in Mexico. More U.S. expatriates live and buy property in Mexico than any other country in the world. According to a 2007 Global Retirement Index Report, Mexico is the top retirement haven in the world. In November 2007, the research division of the U.S. National Association of Realtors® revealed that 24.9% of all Americans living outside the U.S. are living in Mexico. Nearly a quarter of all Americans living outside the U.S. know that Mexico is the place to be. Those from the U.S. and Canada who aren’t coming on cruise ships seem to be coming for reasons beyond tourism. Many of them are looking for a kinder, gentler place to live or for a place to retire, buy a second home, or open a business. Many of these transplanted residents are building homes at the beach or in Metro areas. You can still get quality construction from $40-$75 per square foot. You can build a very nice and modern 2,000 sq. ft. home, with a swimming pool, for about $190,000. That includes costs for the lot and associated closing costs, installation of electricity and septic system, architectural renderings, permitting costs, and construction of the home and swimming pool. Foreign banks have also started offering mortgages to U.S. citizens who wish to buy in Mexico at competitive rates, an opportunity that did not exist just a few years ago. In fact, some of the world's largest residential lenders have now entered the real estate market in Mexico. This Paradise Is Real And Affordable The benefits of living and investing in Mexico have never been more apparent and easier to take advantage of. Not just for U.S. citizens, but for Canadians, Europeans, South Americans, and anyone looking for great weather, low prices, rich culture, and potential profits. Cost of living: Everyone seems to agree the quality of your life improves in Mexico. Goods and services cost less so you can afford the kinds of luxuries only the very wealthy enjoy up north, like a maid, a cook, and a gardener. When you can afford to hire a maid, a cook, and a gardener, all of a sudden you have time to read, time to volunteer at the local school, time to golf in the mornings, time to relax on the beach, but most important of all….time to savor life. Healthcare: Health care in Mexico is very good...and in many places it is excellent. Most doctors and dentists in Mexico received at least part of their training in the U.S. or Canada and the cost of health care in Mexico is generally one-half or less what you might pay in the U.S. The same goes for prescription drug Accessibility: Mexico is served by a large number of international airports with regularly scheduled flights from all over the world. But imagine having the option of driving to and exploring this magnificent country in your own car, at your own pace. Taxes: Mexico taxes it residents on worldwide income pursuant to Article 1 of the income tax law. It is important to note that Mexico allows for a foreign tax credit for any taxes paid outside of Mexico. Who Hasn’t Dreamed Of Retiring By The Ocean Even though Mexico is just next door to the U.S., beachfront real estate remains only a fraction of the price of comparable properties in San Diego, California and Miami Beach, Florida. However, bargains like these are going fast as the mainstream press continues to rave about the benefits of retiring in Mexico, attracting more U.S. and Canadian citizens. The Costa Maya coastline has attracted a growing number of Baby Boomers seeking an affordable first-class retirement haven within steps of the ocean. Live right on the beach for pennies on the dollar. Why Mexico Makes So Much Sense Right Now Leaving the U.S. can be a way to double your retirement dollar. Pick the right country, and you may be able to trade up to a larger house, get a pool, hire servants--and guarantee visits from your kids. Mexico is bargain numero uno. A newly retired couple can set up housekeeping for $1,500 a month--$500 each for living expenses and $500 to rent a house. – Fortune Magazine When Mexico recently firmed up laws for foreigners to own land through bank trusts, the floodgates opened... A beachfront lot 30 miles up the coast in southern California would cost you several million dollars. South of the border, a spot on the beach can cost you less than $100,000. – CBS Evening News Retire to the land of peasant uprisings and economic chaos? Americans are finding the reality behind the media image to be tremendously appealing: The weather's great, the people are warm and a devalued peso makes them instantly richer.— U.S. News and World Report The Gringos are moving where the living is easy... They move south not so much in pursuit of the sun, which they could find just as easily in Florida or Arizona, but in a search for a cheaper way of life. – The Economist The number of U.S. citizens living part-time or full-time in Mexico has increased from about 200,000 a decade ago to as many as 1.5 million today according to an estimate by the U.S. State Department. – Dallas Morning Herald Sixteen Reasons To Relocate/Buy Property In Mexico 1. For a better quality of life, to live healthier, with less stress. Quality Health Care At Affordable Prices If the great weather, lower cost of living, and improved quality of life can’t convince you to move to Mexico, try this: affordable, quality health care. It’s something everyone needs and deserves. According to data compiled in 2005, nearly 47 million U.S. citizens (16% of the population) are without health insurance. The average annual cost for a family health insurance policy in the U.S. is about $11,000, and average annual expenses on medical care and services each year is approximately $13,000, says the Kaiser Foundation, an organization that tracks health care expenditures. Not only is the cost of insurance expensive, but so is the cost of medical care in the U.S. So, it should come as no surprise that many from the U.S. are finding options in countries like Mexico. Mexico also offers a government health plan, called Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS). For about $300 per year, you get complete coverage, including prescription medications. And yes, foreigners can obtain IMSS coverage. Many foreigners in Mexico use IMSS as a major medical or catastrophic care fallback plan, but see private doctors and pay out-of-pocket for routine care. In Mexico, health insurance is also much lower. A comprehensive policy for two costs approximately $2000, with a low deductible that even covers international travel. If you've been considering Mexico as a second-home or retirement destination, it's definitely time to take a serious look. Mexico is rolling out the red carpet for you. With easy-to-obtain residence permits, la vida buena south of the border looks better every day. Boca Del Mar Let’s face it. The “American Dream” isn’t what it used to be. These days, a fast-growing number of unfortunate North Americans are being forced to work well into their “retirement” years, endure a lower standard of living, and watch their lifelong dreams fade away. So if you’ve still got visions of your own “American Dream” of enjoying a luxurious, prosperous, first-class lifestyle in a healthier, less stressful environment while vastly reducing your daily expenses, then we would like to present you with an almost unbelievable chance to gain direct access to Mexico's most timely and attractive lifestyle and investment opportunity…..Boca Del Mar, Majahual, a Master Planned Coastal Resort Community.
